‭Based in Brooklyn, Kalina Winters is a 2018 graduate of the Rhode Island‬ School of Design. She has exhibited at galleries across the United States and‬ in Rome. Winters creates art concerning representations of three-dimensional‬ form and space on a two-dimensional plane. With meticulous draftsmanship‬ and color choices she conjures incredible illusions of texture and depth‬ through her masterful handling of paint and pencil. Winters’ layered geometric‬
forms bulge out into space packed with explosive color and motion, some‬ works purely abstract and others forming recognizably representational‬ images through the summation of their discrete structures.‬
