For my project Dreaming Reach I created three short films each depicting interpersonal relationships in fantastical ways. The themes touched upon include isolation, estrangement, unity, independence, dependence, and longing. I tried to give each film a dreamlike quality. I wanted to do this project because of my interest in what goes on inside our heads and how we feel towards one another. I was interested in how such feelings and thoughts would look if they were manifested physically. These films though devoid of dialogue all follow a narrative arising from a central conflict. I used both live action and animation techniques to create them.
