Service Project: Posters made for local businesses and restaurants
For this service project, I decided I wanted to help out local businesses and restaurants to help protect our community from the spread of COVID-19. I decided to create a poster informing people to wear masks, stand 6 feet apart, and wash their hands to help protect themselves and others from the virus. I noticed there are many businesses and restaurants that don’t have these signs in their windows and I thought it would be a great chance to help out those who don’t have these signs. For my personal project, I wanted to use this opportunity to open up with the closest people in my life and find out how their lives have changed since the virus’s outbreak. I took 2 portraits of the 3 people in my life who mean the most to me, which will be followed by short interviews transformed into transcripts.
