“A life thus names a restless activeness, a destructive-creative force-presence that does not coincide fully with any specific body. A life tears the fabric of the actual without ever coming fully out in a person, place, or thing… A life contains only virtuals. It is made of virtualities.” -Jane Bennett
In this body of work I attempt to create a space comprised of vibrant matter, a collection of images that evoke a feeling of impermanence through printing on basic craft paper and the grouping of images in a grid based on pattern and tone. These photographs act as a singular work, serving to provide a glimpse into a constructed virtual world that does not exist within any set time or place.
