notes. Selections from the 2022 Senior Seminar

As a photographer, I have taken the unofficial role of documenting my friends’ lives, which has grown into the desire to document the people around me. The mundane does not become noteworthy because I recorded it, but preserving glimpses into peoples’ identities celebrates their experiences. I am exploring the parts of people’s lives that they display publicly and how they interact with their environment. The things people interact with and how they interact with them determine how each of us persists in someone else’s memory.
