One consequence of modern life is that humans have disconnected from nature and its healing benefits. I mimic the natural environment in my apartment to create a true feeling of home. Using found objects and family hand-me-downs gives warmth and a sense of history behind each element; it is also a more sustainable way to decorate and live. My work attempts to capture the comfort of home, explain my process, and tell my personal story of home.
