I am making a series of drawings & paintings that exhibit contrasts and juxtapositions within and on the border of the Hell's Kitchen neighborhood. There are seven pieces; every work is done in a different medium (watercolor, acrylic, spray paint, ink, photography, charcoal, and digital painting) and done in a pair of complementary colors. Each piece highlights a place in Hell's Kitchen where opposite characteristics live on the street right next to each other.
