Hunts Point Agriculture: Food Consolidation and Community Justice
Using a combination of ink and watercolor drawings, photographs, and text, I explore the existing conditions of the Hunts Point Food Distribution Center in the Bronx, the largest of its kind in the world, as well as the neighboring residential area of Hunts Point, a "food desert." The work ranges from representational drawings and images of the peninsula to more radical depictions of what a community-centered urban food system could be.
