Proposal for an art display at Fordham University, Lincoln Center Campus, 2021.

Selling Bananas In Ascending Order Of Ripeness is made up of 90 double-sided photographic prints. Each of the photographs was taken from the front seat of a car parked at various locations. The accompanying texts come from overheard talk shows broadcasting on the car radio while the photographs were being made.

In this current proposal, 5x7 inch prints placed into acrylic menu/sign holders would be displayed on tables throughout the Ram Cafe and/or Community Dining Room for the duration of the exhibition at the Ildiko Butler Gallery.

The presence of the image-texts during a meal or cup of coffee will perhaps encourage wide-ranging conversations.
